In ancient times, it was easy to clean an area. In 1954′s Ulysses starring Kirk Douglas in the title role, Ulysses tells his servants to purify the room [where he has slain the suiters] with sulfur and fire. Well, we have more modern methods these days, paint and new carpet.
Our office and lab is in the basement of an older building. We refer to it affectionately as The Dungeon. This weekend our office went through a sprucing up, new carpet and paint. It was worth it.
