Apparently, a lot of honey you buy is not 100 % real honey. It has been adulterated usually with corn and other syrups. The FDA does not require those selling honey to state the percentage of honey in what you purchase. In addition, it appears there is or was not enough honey produced to satisfy consumption, which also encourages the adulteration of honey for sale.
